CLGSA Mission Statement

Thanks for stopping by the Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association (CLGSA) website. CLGSA is one of the largest gay softball associations in the Midwest. It is a 501c(3) organization founded in 1986, focused on providing opportunity and access for the LGBTQIA community and their allies to participate in organized softball competitions. CLGSA is an open-division softball league open to LGBTQIA+ players and friends in the Columbus metropolitan area. The organization strengthens our community by providing social connections, camaraderie, and athletic competition for players at all skill levels. CLGSA is a NAGAAA Member City. Hello Softball Enthusiasts,

We're thrilled to announce the opening season of our CLGSA Softball League, a space where diversity, inclusivity, and the love for the game come together! If you're passionate about softball and want to be part of a community that celebrates every color of the rainbow, this is the league for you.

  • Inclusive Environment: Embrace your authentic self in a welcoming and supportive community.
  • Competitive Fun: Play your heart out and compete with fellow enthusiasts who share your passion for the game.
  • Friendship and Connection: Build lasting connections with like-minded individuals who love softball as much as you do.

Season Details:

  • Opening Season: May (Subject to change)
  • Play Day: Sunday 10 am - 3 pm
  • Fields: Busch Sports Park
  • Duration: 10 Weeks 
  • Player Registration Fee: $30 (Now includes ticket to Bat-n-Rouge)

Rating and Skills Clinics

Are you new to the league or just trying to brush up on your softball skills? We will be holding a rating clinic for those players new to the league to ensure that we are in compliance with iPride Softball. Then, after those clinics, we will be doing skills clinics to help you brush up on your skills or better your game.
